The fonds consists of a manuscript “Memoirs of Anna Laura” written by Annie Robertson Harrison recounting her life in Edmonton at the end of the 19th century and one photograph of Annie.

The memoir mentions Annie’s family – parents (W. Scott and Harriet Robertson), siblings (Harry, Nell, Carrie, Fred, Robert, Grace), husband (Dr. John Darely Harrison), as well as her children and grandchildren. It also covers family activities and buildings including her father’s Cooking Lake residence, Spruce Lodge, and her father’s opera house, Robertson Hall, including the night the hall burned down.

It also includes references to various events and people: the 1885 Rebellion, 1897 Klondike Gold Rush, construction of the CPR and EY&P railroads, Strathcona, Fort Edmonton, Long Lake, St. Albert, Herschel Island, Athabasca Landing, Eggies Halfway House, Louis Daniels, Grasshopper, Mrs. Grey, Mary Bobsleigh, Kenny McLeod, Colonel Jamieson, Dr. and Mrs. McKay, Casey family, and Muchias,

The memoir describes a number of "firsts" in Edmonton, such as the first: public school (McKay Avenue School), sheriff, women's hockey team, theatrical hall, and piano. There are also references to many original settler families, such as, the Olivers, Walters, Macauleys, Griesbachs, Mckays and McDougalls.

There is also a photocopy of a newspaper article about Annie Robertson Harrison and her memoir, "'It Was Wonderful To Be Young In Edmonton'... As Mrs. Harrison Recalls Settlement 72 Years Ago", by Ruth Bowen, Edmonton Journal, September 1, 1955.

The fonds consists of the records of the Edmonton Club and includes minutes, correspondence, membership registers, maps, building plans, constitutions, rule books, reports, menus, acts of incorporation, and financial statements. The photographs consist of headshots of the Presidents of the Edmonton Club, as well as a few images of the Club’s annual general meetings and of the Imperial Bank of Canada both as it was being built and when it was completed in 1907. Large membership registers and bound guest books are also included.

This fonds consists of records from the Royal Lawn Bowling Club from the years 1926 until 1974. The fonds contains correspondence, financial statements, minutes, organization constitutions and by-laws, tournament rules, yearbooks, and meeting minutes for the Royal Ladies Lawn Bowling Club. Also included are two trophies: the Col. Simms Challenger Cup, and the National Home Furniture Trophy. The correspondence includes communications with elected officials, sponsors, other lawn bowling organizations, and members. Also included in the correspondence are several proposed floor plans for the new clubhouse which was built in 1958.

This fonds consists of minutes, agendas, financial statements, project reports, research files, grant information, correspondence, program documentation, posters, photographs, and certificates created by the Edmonton Bicycle Commuters Society. Some electronic material is present in the fonds. A note in the file title has been added where a digital carrier is present. A note has also been added to the titles of files that may contain photographic images or negatives.

In addition to the administrative files of the Society, there are also records of the various programs and initiatives that the Society spearheaded or participated in. These files include the Bike Registration Program, Lunar Cycle and Bike Month, Bike Workshops, Bikes on Buses, Cycle-Able City, and Rails to Trails (R2T).

This fonds consists of the newsletters, financial statements, minutes, annual general meetings, convention files, correspondence, bylaws, membership lists, budgets, and publications of the Edmonton Stamp Club. Also included are medals won by an Edmonton Stamp Club member during various conventions. The video series, "Uncle Albert's Stamp Collection," is also included. The fonds consists of records relating to Charlotte Daws’ track and field successes, including news clippings, programmes of track and field events (in some of which she competed), and a programme of the first British Empire Games, Hamilton, Ontario, Aug. 16-23, 1930.
The photographs include a portrait of Charlotte with trophies and medals, and photo of the Canadian Men’s Track & Field Team. Both photographs taken at the first British Empire Games, Hamilton, Ontario, Aug. 16-23, 1930. The objects include a British Empire Games pin, numerous track and field medals, and four commemorative Women's Amateur Athletic Association of Canada spoons.
