On verso: Wing Commander R.F. Begg of Vancouver, commander of a Royal Canadian Air Force army co-operation squadron in Britain, discusses an exercise with Major Alan F. Macdonald, former Edmonton lawyer who is now an air liason officer in the Canadian army. He is one of the officers living and training with the RCAF overseas to assure the closest co-operation between air and land units when the day comes for the Canadian army to spearpoint a new front.
