All that is known is that G.D. Clark lived in Edmonton in the late 1800s into the 1900s.
It is not known how Arthur Shook acquired the records.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of a handwritten account by G.D. Clark on the first fireworks display in Edmonton, held 1 July 1893 at the racetrack on the Hudson’s Bay Reserve lands. It includes references to Tommy Lauder and Bill Ibbotson.

This fonds was donated to the City of Edmonton Archives by Arthur Shook in 1971.
