This aerial photograph of downtown Edmonton is credited to the RCAF c. 1956. The Legislative Assembly is in the lower left corner and the CN Rail yards in the centre. The Hotel Macdonald and the Low Level Bridge are easily seen at the right centre and Northlands in the upper part of the image.

Located at 10016 - 104 Street. In 1912, the fire department started to replace horse-drawn equipment with motorized vehicles. By 1914, a total of 7 rigs had been replaced with motorized fire-fighting equipment. Also of special interest in the photograph - notice the small building on the far left that is raised for moving.
