Name of creator
Daniel Taylor Ritchie was born in 1898 in Scotland and was in Edmonton by 1906. He worked in a variety of Edmonton printing and publishing companies, including Western Veteran Publishing Co., Bulletin Printers, Reliable Printing and Hamley Press.
Daniel T. Ritchie died in 1972.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of photographs of buildings, street scenes, construction and bridges in Edmonton, as well as the North Saskatchewan River.
Immediate source of acquisition
This fonds was donated to the City of Edmonton Archives by Daniel T. Ritchie in 1967 and 1970.
The photographs were assigned item numbers with the prefix EA-24.
