Scope and content

This series includes reports to City Council from the Commissioners. Council would request information from administration through the City Commissioners. The Commissioners would then submit reports to council, which were referenced in Council minutes. These reports were for informational purposes, but laid the foundation for decisions by Council on a variety of issues. This series has been divided into two subseries.

This material was transferred to the City of Edmonton Archives in 1971 by the Office of the City Commissioner.
