              The fonds consists of certificates for Halley's Comet 1986 sighting, a copy of the site profile on the 1908 house in downtown Edmonton later converted into a restaurant called Vi's and information on the Oliver area. Another accrual in 2010 contained documents used for site profiles on the Canadian Furniture Company, Armstrong Drug Store, W.W. Arcade, Mike's News, Pantages (Strand) Theatre and the Princess Theatre.

              The fonds consists of the records of the Edmonton Club and includes minutes, correspondence, membership registers, maps, building plans, constitutions, rule books, reports, menus, acts of incorporation, and financial statements. The photographs consist of headshots of the Presidents of the Edmonton Club, as well as a few images of the Club’s annual general meetings and of the Imperial Bank of Canada both as it was being built and when it was completed in 1907. Large membership registers and bound guest books are also included.

              This collection consist of David Capelazo's research into shipping in Northern Alberta, including material on Northern Transportation Company Ltd, S.S. Distributor, S.S. McKenzie River, S.S. Slave River, S.S. Northern Light, S.S. Peace River, Scows, York Boats, The City of Edmonton, and the S.S. Wrigley. This collection also includes plans and newspaper clippings on the Edmonton Queen river boat.

              The fonds consists of business records of LaFlèche Brothers Inc. and its predecessors, including LaFlèche Brothers; LaFlèche Brothers, Limited; and LaFlèche Wholesale Tailoring Company, Limited, and of related companies including Westcraft System of Tailoring. The records cover the entire period of the business was open, from 1906 to 2007, although some periods have more surviving records than others. The records provide evidence of the Edmonton operation of LaFlèche Bros. as well as the business' Calgary and Vancouver branches.

              The material includes administrative records relating to the Board of Directors, company policies, financial records, ledgers, property records, manufacturing and sales records. There is also a variety of promotional records including print advertisements and newspaper articles, promotional letters, advertisement proofs, radio spot recordings, and metal templates. There is also a series of records relating to the company's 2005-2006 centennial.

              The fonds also contains records related to other interests of various members of the LaFlèche family. These include records from J. A. LaFlèche's other business ventures including Claynett Limited, Beauharnois Power Corporation, Limited, and La-Van-Co Limited. There is also records of the Edmonton Optimist Club from Louis F. LaFlèche's 1943 term as club President. There is a few files of Mae E. LaFlèche's personal records.

              The fonds has been intellectually divided into seven series.

The records consist of minutes of the various boards and committees, annual general meetings, meetings of the highway areas, correspondence, running files consisting of a mixture of correspondence and research material, resolutions, financial statements, membership information, strategic plans, bylaws, photographs, promotional apparel, and a book.
