This fonds contains Catherine Cole's research into patents obtained by Edmonton inventors between 1905 and 1975.

The collection consists of ledgers and correspondence relating to the Edmonton Tannery, 1930-1952. These records reveal much of the day to day business of the tannery. Also included are the private correspondence and business papers of John B. Lidstone.

The fonds consists of two photographs found in the home of Charles Henry Lane. They include horse and carriage team and the wood yard of Mr. A. Friedrich in Edmonton.

This collection consists of donations accumulated by the City of Edmonton Archives which consist of a limited number of photographs. Often these donations had little or no provenance, however were considered to be historically relevant enough to preserve. Photographs range in subject matter from Edmonton events, buildings, transportation, people, and businesses.

This fonds contains the records of the City Assessor's Department and its predecessor body, the Office of the City Assessor, including correspondence, forms, and tax assessment and tax collector's rolls.

An order has been imposed on the material. The arrangement includes 2 series, which are as follows:

Fonds consists of records kept regarding the different types of licenses granted by the City in the early 1900s. It also includes examples of licenses purchased from the City.

• File 5: License issued to Mah Jim to keep a restaurant at 264 Namayo Avenue known as “The Frisco Restaurant” (1909)
• File 6: Dog tag #2451, issued to Mrs. L. Doherty for a black spaniel (1918)
• File 7: Dray license #160 for a two horse vehicle (1928)
• File 8: License register (1905-1909)
• File 9: Ledger of documents stamped with the seal of the City of Edmonton (1914-1915)
• File 10: Licenses Paid (1915-1916)

This fonds consists of minutes, reports, correspondence, speeches, and other records relating to the functions performed by the Mayor of Edmonton that were sent to the City of Edmonton Archives by the Mayor's Office.

An order has been imposed on the material. Files are arranged in alphabetically while material within the files are arranged chronologically. Wherever possible original file titles were retained.

This collection consist of David Capelazo's research into shipping in Northern Alberta, including material on Northern Transportation Company Ltd, S.S. Distributor, S.S. McKenzie River, S.S. Slave River, S.S. Northern Light, S.S. Peace River, Scows, York Boats, The City of Edmonton, and the S.S. Wrigley. This collection also includes plans and newspaper clippings on the Edmonton Queen river boat.
