Name of creator
Barend Wissink, born to Mr. and Mrs. Jan Wissink, is a resident of Edmonton. Barend is an active member of the Edmonton Stamp Club and the Wild Rose Antique Collectors Society, where he served as President from 1979 to 1980. Barend, and his wife Margaret, are inductees on the Wildrose Antique Collectors Society's Wall of Honour.
Scope and content
The collection consists of photographs collected by Barend Wissink, which were originally arranged in a scrapbook. The photographs include scenes of Edmonton and the Northwest Territories.
Immediate source of acquisition
This collection was donated to the City of Edmonton Archives by Barend Wissink in 1979.
The material was arranged according to the filing system of the creator.
The photographs were assigned item numbers with the prefix EA-372.
