Gordon Wilkins was born 26 Jun 1886 to Harriet and Richard Wilkins in York (Toronto), Ontario. By 1909 Gordon was in Edmonton working as jeweler and watchmaker at Kline’s Jewelry and he was boarding at 547 Clara Street.

Gordon married Edna L. Tomlinson in Edmonton in 1912. They had two children, Wayne and Lenora, and the family moved to a home near 105 Avenue and 102 Street. By 1921, Gordon and Edna divorced. Gordon moved to Toronto, Ontario with the children, and Edna remained in Edmonton.

Gordon married Kathleen Jacob on 1 Jan 1924 in Toronto, Ontario. Gordon and Kathleen had one son, Ross.

Gordon Wilkins died on 11 Nov 1947.

Frank William Wiggins was born in London, England 3 Oct 1889. He was a civil servant in England before immigrating to Canada. He worked in Manitoba and southern Alberta, then at the Swift Canadian Company in Edmonton, Alberta, as a cashier. He enlisted on 16 Feb 1916, having been a member of the 101st Edmonton Fusiliers. He served in A Company, 49th Battalion, C.E.F., received the Military Medal at the Second Battle of Cambrai for bravery, attained the rank of sergeant and was in Mons at the Armistice 11 Nov 1918.
After the war he homesteaded near Barrhead, Alberta, and later became Secretary-Treasurer for the Lac Ste. Anne School Division.

Percy Wickman was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He came to Edmonton in 1960 and worked various odd jobs until an industrial accident damaged his spine and confined him to a wheelchair. After the accident and a year's recovery, he was employed by paraplegic organizations including the Coalition of Provincial Organizations of the Handicapped and the Handicapped Housing Society of Alberta. He also upgraded his education and earned a Business Administration diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1969. He later attended the University of Alberta majoring in Political Science. He ran for city council three times before being elected in 1977. He served three terms as councilor until 1986 then worked as a private consultant and as the executive director to the leader of the Alberta Liberals, Laurence Decore. He ran as a Liberal against Provincial Premier Don Getty, and won the seat in 1989. He wrote an autobiography "Wheels in the Fast Lane ... a blessing in Disguise". in 1987.

Donald Whitford was born in 1840 the son of James Junior Whitford who worked for the Hudson Bay Company. In [1852?] Donald travelled to the Kootenays in the James Sinclair party. For many years he ranged between Portage La Prairie and Fort Edmonton travelling south into Washington and worked periodically for the Hudson Bay Company. The Rev. Mr. Steinhauer married Donald Whitford and Peggy Paul on May 5, 1870. Together the couple had 12 children. The Whitfords settled land on Red Willow Creek which was later sold to Gustav Hilker. He died November 28, 1927 and Peggy died February 16, 1938. They are both buried at Red Willow Cemetery.

Dr. Thomas H. Whitelaw was born in Guelph, Ontario on September 23, 1867 to parents William and Isabelle (Henderson) Whitelaw as the eighth of nine children.

After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1890 and a Bachelor of Medicine degree in 1894, Whitelaw opened a practice in Edmonton in 1898. In 1908, he was selected to become the Province of Alberta’s Health Officer, a position he held during the Spanish Flu epidemic after World War I until 1929.

Dr. Whitelaw died in 1943 and is interred in Guelph, Ontario.

Henry "Harry" Whitehouse was married to Emma Whitehouse and together they had eight children, five daughters and three sons; Florence, Heleen, Hannah, Henry, Elizabeth “Lily”, Ernest, Ruth, and Grace. The family immigrated to Canada in 1906 and resided in Edmonton, Alberta. The family was Baptist. Harry was a firefighter with the No. 4 Fire Hall in Edmonton and Florence worked as a bookbinder.

Don Whidden is a rugby enthusiast in the city of Edmonton who has participated as a coach and manager for local and national teams.

Albert Whelpley was born 31 Oct 1912 to Annie and Arthur Whelpley in Edmonton. Albert married Ruth K. Hanson in 1937 in Edmonton. Albert worked for the Canadian National Railway (C.N.R.) from age 15 until retirement at age 60. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Highland Golf Glub.
Albert Whelpley died 13 March 2005 in Edmonton.
